The journey of the Self and the 72 cards

The order in which the images are presented in the explanatory book of Transparent Symbols Oracle Deck perfectly describes the circle of life, the evolution of the self, and all the stages of a therapeutic and transforming process. This way, the person who handles the cards can find himself in one of the characters, and also one of the life scenarios could be similar to his life experience. Watching the sequential chain described 8 by the story and thus meditating on it will give him the revelation needed in order to see clearly the path he has to take in the future and the role he plays in the present.

The journey of the Self

The Universe, life, and every experience begin with Unity (1), which is the seed of the masculine energy, that divides into Duality (2), the womb of feminine energy, its complementary and opposite. From the union or the collision of these two arises their product, The Trinity (3), the evolution or the consequence. The two primordial energies also contain in themselves the archetype of The Sun (4) and The Moon (5), which means the father and the mother. Together, they form The Flower of Life (6), out of which all the possibilities of manifestation of human experiences are born.

In the physical realm, the personal story begins a long time ago with The Roots (7) of the family tree, from whose sap all its branches are formed and in which all the feelings and the beliefs of the predecessors are imprinted. Along with the roots, Childhood (8) and Knowledge (9) are the three major elements that compose Persona (10). In turn, persona intertwines from the two manifestations of the soul, Animus (11) and Anima (12), the personality of the man and the personality of the woman. The two will find each other and they will attract each other by their frequency of The Heart (13) and they will be united in earthly and divine Union (14). In case animus and anima of the two are not completely and correctly developed, in case the man and the woman have not yet integrated and recognized their two soul parts or the two partners have not yet detached themselves from the roots, the union will become Identification (15). The identification with an idea, an image, an emotion, the other. Their life and relationship will continue in the routine and in the inertia of this pattern, being led capped by The Pillars of Reality (16): a respected profession, a house, a family, a safe workplace, a social position, daily responsibilities, until the Comfort Zone (17) is perfectly built, brick by brick, and on it are applied the most positive Filters (18), those of the belief that life is all about these and nothing more.

But, considering that life is made of constant evolution, this comfort zone will eventually be challenged by an exterior force, by the hand of destiny, Karma (19), or by a temptation, whatever form it could take, Lilith (20). They will awaken the passion from numbness, emotion, and thoughts, which is Eroticism (21) and The Vitruvian Man (22), the embodiments of the human senses. From now on, there can only be two directions: back to the comfort zone or forward into the unknown, and, between these two, it is all a matter of personal Choice (23).

Furthermore, when the mind is troubled and the soul weakened, when more is needed to learn the lesson of life and to produce a conscious transformation, temptation will influence the choice through all kinds of tricks and personal Charms (24), so that The Focus (25) stays only on her. Cloaked in total Illusion (26), animus or anima will ascend to the shining throne of The Golden Cage (27). That catch was made and The Knot (28) was created. In this new story, as in any other in which the form and not the content prevailed, there will always be a space between What You See and What You Don’t (29).

In the shadow there is The Scar (30), that same scar from the roots, well hidden and constantly Repressed (31), which dictates the same Pattern (32) over and over again and it adds new bricks to The Walls (33) that become taller and taller. Again, in the same known comfort zone, karma reappears in the form of Rescue (34) or a Dreamcatcher (35), meant to remove the charms of the temptation. Unveiling will force the person to see their real face in The Mirror (36), and the reflected image to awaken the monster of Frustration (37). The monster will scream, grind and cause pain until the world created out of illusion will find The End (38) in collapse, in total darkness.

When on the outside everything is black and nothing makes sense anymore, the right direction can only be inwards, and The Key (39) to salvation is Introspection (40)! Through conscious meditation, Memories (41) are unlocked and the person steps on the realm of The Subconscious (42), where, through Communication (43), The Truth (44) will be revealed.

Often, the truth can liberate and heal instantly, but it can also feel cruel and ruthless and it can cause deep Sadness (45) and The Outburst (46) inside the mind and soul. In an attempt to retaliate, revolt or hide from the truth, the person will point The Sword (47) in all directions, both towards the outside world, which the person will blame for everything, and towards the self. But no one will win this war and, in order to gain understanding and to truly evolve, Hades (48), the realm of fears, sufferings and inner demons will have to be crossed!

With the Divine Protection (49) alongside, the person will begin the long way of The Transformative Process (50), which implies both Reason (51), which is logical mind, analysis and awareness, and Forgiveness (52), which is soul and emotion, equally. At the end of it, The Phoenix (53) will rise from its own ashes and fly high to the Open Door (54) of a new chance to live.

After Liberation (55) and Healing (56), gaining personal Freedom (57) will offer the person a perspective and chance to manifest all the Possibilities (58). Finalising successfully all these stages and the whole therapeutic process will imply the ascent on The Stairs (59) of evolution and the gaining of Maturity (60). This wisdom is on the same level as detachment from all that happened in the past, having the ability to continue building, to give and take unconditionally, to understand and master the force of The Infinite (61).

When everything is aligned, when there is balance and The Chakras (62) illuminate powerfully in all bodies, the ability to walk on the axis of Timeline (63) is acquired easily because it is common knowledge that past no longer exists and future is not fixed, it is constantly created in the present moment. The correct use of the universal laws raises consciousness on The Bridge (64) that leads to another dimension, that in which all the elements: Earth (65), Water (66), Air (67) and Fire (68) are one, in which Quantum Wave (69) and free will intertwine to create. From these ingredients, Abundance (70) of happiness, joy, well-being and life is born. During these last stages, the Soul is ready for Transcendence (71) and to climb The Unalome Spiral (72).
